this was a very FULL day. we started bright and early down at battery park. walked up to ground zero down to wall street and across to liberty island and over to ellis island and that's all before lunch!
my mom rubbed the bulls balls for good luck
nancy and wendy didn't -
- but nancy had the forsight to buy liberty tickets with a specific time (it was like the speed line at disney world) - very VERY lucky
i've rubbed the bull's balls before... i didn't need to do it again

back to battery park where we met up with mitch and went to lombardi's for lunch (first pizza place EVER) mitch went to work and we wandered SoHo. {no pictures - at least, not on my camera}
we decided to do the bus tours and started with the night loop. we got on in times square and headed downtown
"you'll stay up till this dump shines... like the top of the Chrysler building!"
